my family just grew && i couldnt be happier.

I couldn't be happier for my sister, i love her soooo much and she's absolutely beautiful and deserves to be happy and shaffique is a great guy && i am happy to welcome him and his familyy into my life, they are all ggreat and i love my sister and him very much.


these are the newly weds, gicela && shaffique attayye, && yes he's afghan so of course they had a traditional (not super traditional) afghan wedding.





this was the actual ceremony/marriage part where they read from the Koran and they have a sort of "i do" thing, but instead they kept saying agree, and they sign this paper which looks more like a contract and they're married, it was very cool to witness this other cultural ceremony.


this is where they put the henna on your hand and then they wrap it, the bride and groom also do this, and they use to make a small cut in their hands as a union of blood but they changed it to henna.

and after it looks like this, a sort of stain of your hand.

haha so my sisters friend is dating Luis Castillo's from SD's own Chargers, && everyone one kept harassing him for photos and since we became cool over the night, i was like "hey luis hate to do this to you but can i get a picture?" and he was like "yea of course" i mean i had to do it! but he's a really cool and super chill guy. :] (i hate how i look in this pic, so freakin disgusting hahah so i made it smaller.)

this movie was an action packed thriller, it had a perfect story line that fit in with a fathers mission to save his daughter and it was absolutely great. rent it if you haven't seen it, idk but i love action movies.

Introducing the host of the tonight show, Conan O' Brien!

So me, steph, my big sister nayeli and her bf's sister jaime all went to an advance test show of the new tonight show for Conan O' Brien, && even though there wasn't any huge big name stars on and this was just a test show and might not ever be aired unless they use it for fleet week or he gets sick or something like that i heard, it was still so much fun, i mean this guy is freakin funny, my cheeks were hurting from how funny he was. It's a lot funnier when he's in person to, he has such weird and awkward but funny gestures and he's an all around a great guy. An old soprano actor was on, i guess he's on some other show now, and this lady from the show 24 and some band played but i forgot the name. It was the worst 4 hours of my life waiting in line but it was worth it because we got to sit in the front row, so that was cool, he was so close! haha my big sister is a huge fan, she started to get all teary eyed, i was kinda embarassed. hahaha. Anyways, it was great and i totally feel asleep on the car ride home, my big sister took better pics and we're actually in them, but i don't feel like waiting for her to put them on myspace to upload to the blog.

running on empty.

Fell asleep around 2am, tossing and turning all night. woke up around 5am to get to class at 8am for a comm final, rws final at 10:30am and then fashion valley to kill time, next final at 4pm. hot as f*ck today at state, 3 finals in one day, no sleep and battery on low, not a good mix at all. get on the trolley fall asleep from bayfront to palomar, "excuse there's no more seats, move your feet," ugh you fckin bitch can't you see i was sleeping, damn i was grouchy when i got home. Like worse then a two year old, (terrible twos got nothing on meeee.) Just finished my spanish homework for city, finally my last final tomorrw. I'mma try and fly right through it so i can bouuuuunce and never look back, (right, i'm taking classes at city over the summer! 4hours long and at night!)
On another note; my best friend Ashley left this morning around 4am to her bootcamp for the army for 9 months && i'm just not the same right now. I mean damn, that's hard, i can't even talk to her for about a month & to top it off she doesn't even have her celly on her, i thought about calling her about 5 times today && i kept having to stop myself. Ugh, i miss her.

The Dentist

"HI" the lady at the front desk greets me, "hey" I manage to mumble back, its freeezing outside and I just want to be seen. "Okay Denise, we have a chair for you right there, just take a seat." That was fast, I quickly sit down and as the dentist comes and sticks a q-tip in my mouth with a foul tasting yellow substance, I'm pratically gagging, and mutter to him "taste weird.." He laughs and points out that my tounge is a bright red, I think to myself (so I had a fckin slurpee before I came to my appt. fckin sue me! Hahaha) I see the needle and all of a sudden I'm not all jokes, he sees the tight grip I now have on the arm rests, and says "its okay, relaaaax" he probably thought to himself, (your not 5, why are u scared?) The needle goes in and I start feeling funny, all of a sudden the underwater world on the ceiling featuring nemo and his friends seem all a little to real. As he starts to drill and make scrambled eggs out of my brain, I start spacing out I mean I can't stop freakin out about how they jst numb you and I seriously can not feel one thing, it actually tickles. He makes a couple of jokes, I'm not sure what he wants from me? I obvisouly an unable to laugh, I mean there's only two people with dental tools in my mouth. So within a half an hour they're finishing up, I mean I only had one small cavity so I feel sum what lucky. The dentist can't help but crack one more joke, "okay be careful, your still numb, don't swallow your toungue." All to loudly I exclaim "yea I know! Hahahahaha!" For some reason I found that halirous. I leave the office feeling as if my toungue doesn't fit my mouth, and I am now walking the to the bus stop with lips bigger then angelina jolie herself, of course as I look into a small mirror I look perfectly normal, with the except I am now talking with a powerful slurr and my worlds are coming out jumbled, I mange to tell my sister I'll meet her at the party city by palomar. Now I jst got off the bus and I'm making my way towards the party city, my mouth is still numb and my teeth are resting on my tounge and I am still unable to pronunce any words correctly, when I said party city it sounded more like "paty city" with a hint of a british accent of sum sort. :) I still can't close my mouth all the way, but I'm just happy to be seeing my niece soon, todays her b.day she is officially two years old. HAPPY B.DAY GODAS!

so i didnt go to school today, as i'm opening my eyes and wondering why it seems so sunny out, i turn to get my phone to check the time, it reads 8:50am, i'm speechless at this point i'm suppose to catch the bus at 9am! theres no point, i just go back to sleep. i don't feel like sleeping in so i just go back to sleep for about half an hour, not to mention my mom won't stop knocking at my door. anywho i decided to take the day and clean my room, throw out anY unneccessary paper work, and clean the rest the house, hey i might as well. so below are pictures of my newly cleaned room, i mean mine and stephanies, (uggh her side was a mess!) mines was just a tad unorganized, i lie i had clothes, notes, homework, tests, binders, books, blankets, let's just say i feel like i accomplished a lot, even though your suppose to keep your room clean all the time, but i just got some time back i mean no more hw! :] yay, just study for finals now.





maybe not so crazy for a friday huh? but i feel better knowing the house is clean & my mom can't talk shit, & its her b.day tomorrow so: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!
